Damn plates! So simple in form yet so tricky!
Those plate molds look really neat .. and .. Oh my goodness! .. that blue pitcher is going to be gorgeous. I can't wait to see the finished product!

Very sweet, and you know I love that scallopy-y thing.If you are having lots of cracking problems with plates, you should try to compress the clay more when you are centering and dry slowly. Cracks begone!
It never fails. The successful rate for plates has always been 3 out of 4. I guess consistency is a good thing.
