Farm Animals Series
First of all, I would like to thank you for not giving up on this blog. It has been a crazy holiday season but I'm back again, full force, I might add. Here are some pictures of my latest work, porcelain bowls, with farm animals decor. I hope you like them. They were painted free hand using blue underglaze. I'm still in search for a blue underglaze that won't run at cone 10. If you know of any, please let me know.

Yay, you're back! These are just too adorable.
I'm not sure about ^10, but I was just reading about coyote underglazes that are new for ^6.
Cynthia, It's so good to know you still check in once in a while. I'll have to get me some Coyote underglazes. Thanks for the tip!

hi - my name is marcey, and i'm currently a university student enrolled in a ceramics class. i just want to tell you that i've been checking out your blog for a while and i absolutely love your work. it's so unique. last semester i took the first level of a ceramics class and was only allowed to construct things by hand, which was wonderful. i decided to enroll in the second section of the class this semester and i'm just learning now to use the wheel. it's incredibly difficult but oh so much fun! i've made a few pieces that are fairly decent, perhaps not quite centered - but i like them. anyway i really enjoy looking at your pieces and just wanted to tell you that they are really great! :)
