I am so excited! The
Giffin Grip came in the mail yesterday. It's something I've been gnarling over for a year now. It's definitely a "luxury" tool and something I can do without. On the other hand, it would sure speed up productivity, especially during hectic periods in the studio like the upcoming holidays. Oftentimes, I'm too lazy to make a chuck out of clay to trim large vases or pitchers. During one of my weak moments last week, I finally caved in and bought one. When I saw the box outside the door yesterday, it felt like an early birthday present. I immediately unpacked it and put it to good use.
Note: In case you're wondering what a chuck is, here's a great
post of one by Cynthia. Thank you Cynthia!

Ohhh, I'm jealous now, Chi! Thanks for the shout out...
If only we live in the same neighborhood, I would gladly share it with you.
I'm wondering what a "Griffin Grip" and a "chuch" is too! Will have to follow your links to find out! Congratulations on your new treasures, Chi! :)
